16 Allora lo consegnò loro perché fosse crocifisso.
Mark 15
16 And the soldiers led him away inside the palace (that is, the governor's headquarters), and they called together the whole battalion.17 And they clothed him in a purple cloak, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on him.18 And they began to salute him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”19 And they were striking his head with a reed and spitting on him and kneeling down in homage to him.20 And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the purple cloak and put his own clothes on him. And they led him out to crucify him.

27 Allora i soldati del governatore, tratto Gesù nel pretorio, radunarono attorno a lui tutta la coorte.28 E spogliatolo, gli misero addosso un manto scarlatto;29 e intrecciata una corona di spine, gliela misero sul capo, e una canna nella man destra; e inginocchiatisi dinanzi a lui, lo beffavano, dicendo: Salve, re de’ Giudei!30 E sputatogli addosso, presero la canna, e gli percotevano il capo.31 E dopo averlo schernito, lo spogliarono del manto, e lo rivestirono delle sue vesti; poi lo menaron via per crocifiggerlo.
