Flock of Sheep in the Pasture

A tightly gathered flock of sheep fills the pasture, their woolly bodies pressed together as several faces look outward from within the herd. The scene draws directly on one of Scripture’s most familiar images: sheep as the people of God, dependent on the care, guidance, and protection of a faithful shepherd.
