Isaiah 11
6 Il lupo abiterà con l’agnello, e il leopardo giacerà col capretto, il vitello, il giovin leone e il bestiame ingrassato staranno assieme, e un bambino li condurrà.7 La vacca pascolerà con l’orsa, i loro piccini giaceranno assieme, e il leone mangerà lo strame come il bue.8 Il lattante si trastullerà sul buco dell’aspide, e il divezzato stenderà la mano sul covo del basilisco.9 Non si farà né male né guasto su tutto il mio monte santo, poiché la terra sarà ripiena della conoscenza dell’Eterno, come il fondo del mare dall’acque che lo coprono.10 In quel giorno, verso la radice d’Isai, issata come il vessillo de’ popoli, si volgeranno premurose le nazioni, e il luogo del suo riposo sarà glorioso.
Isaiah 51
3 Così l’Eterno sta per consolare Sion, consolerà tutte le sue ruine; renderà il deserto di lei pari ad un Eden, e la sua solitudine pari a un giardino dell’Eterno. Gioia ed allegrezza si troveranno in mezzo a lei, inni di lode e melodia di canti.
Isaiah 55
12 Sì, voi partirete con gioia, e sarete ricondotti in pace; i monti e i colli daranno in gridi di gioia dinanzi a voi, e tutti gli alberi della campagna batteranno le mani.13 Nel luogo del pruno s’eleverà il cipresso, nel luogo del rovo crescerà il mirto; e sarà per l’Eterno un titolo di gloria, un monumento perpetuo che non sarà distrutto.
